Lots of trains pass through my city of Lima, Ohio, so I see plenty of train graffiti whenever I’m delayed by a train crossing. Today I spotted something I hadn’t seen before: a portrait on a box car.
There were a few bumble bees feasting on the hundreds of these flowers I saw today at a local wildflower prairie, but they retreated when I approached. Usually bumble bees are good photo models. Maybe they were overcome by the bad hair blooms of bee balm.
I had a peaceful morning stroll through part of Kendrick Woods located in Allen County, Ohio. There was a pond that had an island with wildflowers.
Life is full of all sorts of ambivalence. Today I am stuck in the bloated-yet-deflated variant. At times like this, I feel like I need a full-scale recalibration.
